About me
Hello, and welcome to my website.
I’m an experienced Speech and Language Therapist and supervisor based near Reigate in Surrey.
For over 25 years, I’ve specialised in supporting people with acquired brain injury (ABI). My work has taken me across health, education, independent, and voluntary settings, giving me a wide range of experience and a deep understanding of the different ways people can be supported in their recovery.
I’ve had the privilege of leading multi-professional teams in both adult and children’s neurorehabilitation services and helping services grow and adapt through times of change.
Together with colleagues at the Wolfson Neurorehabilitation Centre, I co-authored The Strands of Speech and Language Therapy: Weaving a Therapy Plan for Neurorehabilitation, a resource designed to support therapists in their practice.
Outside of work I enjoy family time with my family and three cats, exercise, travel, watching rugby, cooking and eating good food!
My services
I provide clinical and professional supervision, as well as leadership mentoring, to speech and language therapists and other Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) working in health or education. I believe that regular, supportive supervision helps individuals grow both professionally and personally, while ensuring the people they work with receive safe, high-quality care.
As a compassionate and inclusive leader, I enjoy helping people develop their skills and confidence, and I take pride in fostering positive, cohesive teams where everyone feels valued and supported.
I support teenagers and adults living with acquired brain injury or other neurological conditions. My approach is holistic and person-centred; always starting with what matters most to the individual, I believe therapy should connect meaningfully to everyday life. I work closely with each person and the people who are important to them, building a shared understanding of their goals and priorities.
My aim is to help people feel more confident and informed about their communication and to support them in finding practical ways to manage the changes they experience.
